Finally nailed the King Arthur bagels recipe today. Changes to process: 1. Reduced time between the diastatic malt water bath and the oven 2. Used a different oven mode for the Miele oven (intensive vs bake) 3. Flipped the bagels 2/3 through 4. Cooled them slowly in the double oven vs the counter

I’m not entirely a hater of things, but for the basics - the new Alexa+ is just awful. It’s like it’s worse at context for which device is playing, music search is worse. The tradeoff to get more rich, multi-turn conversation has broken basic skills I actually depend on.
