A privilege of being in NZ is that when a white man genuinely yells the N-Word at a POC multiple times, it’s like a bomb went off. Those racial slurs were like verbal shrapnel echoing around Welly train station. Then the racist tried to ride and security went “No, you have to leave. Now.”
