Multiple projects ongoing at the same time. To the Tamiya Mosquito, I started Miniart Dora and absolutely horrendous Aichi by ZTS Plastyk, which is intended to be painted by my 4yo so idc. Do the thick tamiya decals peel or do i need to sand them down? Does anyone know? #histscalemodels

Airfix Spitfire mk.22. I call it #finishedkits before i destroy it by some more tweaking. S ared to add more gloss. When cutting canopy parts out of sprue, pieces of it got ripped off 🙄. Spinner is backwards. It was fun, nevertheless. Now towards ruining the Mosquito 🙈 #histscalemodels

Mosquito is primed and ready for paint job. The props are also primed but still on the sprue, i guess I do that part wrong. Other thing which ruins this plane... is dust. It's everywhere here. How do you fight dust? #histscalemodels

The feeling when you live in country not keeping the feast day and you can afford to go (for first time in ages) for breakfast after dropping kids at the daycare, and not just rushing to grind at work. #freeday

I thought to rest from perfect detailed kits and bought zts plastyk model of RWD-6 for 3€. The 1970's tool didn't age well at all (clear parts the most) and so i dont need to feel sorry to experiment. So far I scratch build canopy, which is horrible but still better than in the kit. #histscalemodels

I also cut flaps and slats. Nothing fits together so i propped wings with two brass wires. It is fleshy and brittle, so I had to also sub one undercarriage leg with brass pipeThe original cockpit canopy was yet less seethrough than this so i don't even mind my low skill. Siddley Armstrong Genet Major engine is majorly deformed, so I'm working on it's detailing separately

The feeling you want to relax at second-hand 1978 Hasegawa/Hales F9F-2 Panther kit, because of wife-ordered #buildthestash challenge and you find out you ordered 3D cockpit decals for F9F-8 Cougar, and yet only because it doesn't fit. Did something like that ever happen to you? #histscalemodels

Every step of build I mess something up, stencils break, scratches, accidental glove prints. Antenna is glued on 4x. But I still like it. Won't take it to any competition tho 😃 at least I didn't scratch the glass this time. Yet wires and weathering left... And whatever breaks off 🙈 #histscalemodels

After Christmas trip to fatherland i finally got to do something with my Spitfire. Tried to do some mild post-shading, but i dont really know, what im doing, imitating youtube 😀 And now im thinking, i should have maybe applied at least the big roundels first. #histscalemodels

I should have realized when i had to order new cockpit resin part, that other printed parts in the box would be also shot, pieces missing or cracked in frame. This is not what i had in mind when i heard superior detail. Closed cockpit it is then. My scratch building abilities are on lvl 1 of 100 🤡

Since the baby sleeps few meters from me and i can't use compressor to airbrush shading on my Spit, I started to build hybrid Avia S-199. Never worked with print parts, so I'm shocked how brittle they are. It took me 3 hours to clean only 5 parts. And still i managed to destroy some #histscalemodels

In jan 25 i took my 2yo daughter to aviation museum in Helsinki and brought back an Italeri starter kit of Spitfire mk.IX. And so i again picked my old hobby I've left 25 years ago up. Didn't build many nor imho really well. But I'm sure getting better and wardrobe full of kits 🙈. #histscalemodels
