Leftism is when you go to home depot to buy cinderblocks after the Berlin wall falls (He/him)

Direct democracy is objectively superior to representative democracy in every way. It's not a new opinion for me, like, I'm Swiss and I've known that this is a very good system for a while. But I'm starting to realize how weird it is to me that nobody else is pushing to implement it.

I think the main thing that changed in my politics as I stopped being apolitical (ie rightwing) and became a leftist is that I used to believe that politics are very complex and nuanced, and the more I learn about politics the more everything is exceedingly simple, all the time.

Yesterday someone fucked up at the AFP, they were talking about the robot that goes faster than humans in China and they wrote "terminatorrobo" at some point, which is not a word. All newspapers who do not have proofreaders copy pasted that text and printed it. Now Google's AI tells you it's a word.

Following poker was hugely beneficial to me because I got to have heroes and then I got to see those heroes talk about things other than poker and see that they are dumb as shit. Made me realize that having heroes was entirely unnecessary.
