New project (with 🔊🎵!) : @luriethereal.bsky.social explores legacies of music dna, such as a 2pac bassline being a sample of sample: two generations of music created by a James Brown riff.

Here's a little tool I built to design Flexoki 2.0. I wanted artistic control over ramping while still interpolating colors programmatically with Oklab. In the future it could be used to create more hues and emulate watercolor pigment types within the Flexoki color space.

But also – this is my last project (and day) at @axios.com. I'll be moving over to Polygraph / @puddingviz.bsky.social. The last few years have been incredible and it was an incredible opportunity to work with so many talented people. Here are a few my favorite projects I got to work on 🧵
