Vous serez accueilli-e au sein de l’Unité de Recherche Écosystèmes Aquatiques et Changements Globaux (UR EABX : https://eabx.bordeaux-aquitaine.hub.inrae.fr/qui-sommes-nous/l-unite-eabx), située à Cestas, près de Bordeaux. Cette unité de recherche fait partie du Centre INRAE Bordeaux–Nouvelle Aquitaine.Les recherches menées par l’UR EABX visent à fournir des connaissances, développer des méthodologies et améliorer des outils pour définir et comprendre l’état et la dynamique des écosystèmes aquatiques d’eau douce (estuaires, marais côtiers, lacs et rivières). Cela passe par l’évaluation des réponses de ces écosystèmes et de leurs espèces clés — en particulier les poissons diadromes, estuariens et marins euryhalins, ainsi que les plantes aquatiques — face à diverses pressions d’origine humaine (par exemple, la pêche, la fragmentation des habitats, la pollution, le changement climatique).L’équipe Fonctionnement et Restauration des Écosystèmes Estuariens et Populations Migratrices Amphihalines (FREEMA) conduit des recherches écologiques sur la réponse des communautés de poissons aux contraintes environnementales et aux pressions anthropiques locales et globales. Ces recherches se concentrent principalement sur la compréhension des liens entre la structure et la dynamique de ces communautés et le fonctionnement écologique global des écosystèmes sous contraintes environnementales. Des outils de bioindication sont largement utilisés au sein de l’unité pour réaliser des diagnostics écologiques. Par ailleurs, la restauration des écosystèmes aquatiques dégradés — notamment les estuaires et les habitats associés comme les zones humides — occupe une place croissante dans les activités de recherche de FREEMA.Nous recherchons un-e chercheur-se motivé-e (Ph.D.) pour rejoindre notre équipe dans le but d’évaluer les changements à long terme des communautés de poissons estuariens à grande échelle spatiale et temporelle. Le/la candidat(e) retenu(e) s’appuiera sur des jeux de données nationaux pour étudier comment la richesse spécifique et la répartition des tailles dans les communautés de poissons estuariens ont évolué au fil du temps et selon les gradients environnementaux. Un aspect clé de la recherche sera de relier ces changements observés aux évolutions environnementales et aux pressions anthropiques, telles que les variations de température, de salinité et d’activités humaines.
