I just saw a meme that said “get in losers, we’re reclaiming the emdash”. People. PEOPLE. Where are your STANDARDS? It CLEARLY should be “get in, losers — we’re reclaiming the em dash.”

Some notes on www.jasnell.me/posts/http-s... to address some of the feedback I've received so far ... 1. It's not compatible with any existing server! That's intentional. While many runtimes current implement some variation of using Request/Response or Node.js-compat there is no common API surface

HTTP Server API: A Draft Specification

A draft specification for a server-side HTTP API built on Fetch Standard types — ServerContext, tunnels, WebSocket, WebTransport, priority, error codes, and lifecycle management.

I've also been one to try out new kinds of input devices. I recently came across the mudra link (mudra-band.com) and was fascinated by it. I picked one up last week and, for the most part, it's actually quite a neat little device. There's one challenge with it for me tho...

Mudra Band

Mudra's revolutionary Brain-Computer Interface technology is transforming the way we interact with devices, offering intuitive gesture control unlike anything you've ever experienced.

I'd say that ICE agents are likely the only population whose cumulative and average IQ's are the same single digit integer... but it can't be given that there people who support and enable them.

atproto has one big idea: apps should be lenses rather than boxes this idea is still unknown to majority of internet users. even to the majority of web developers we’re still at a phase where, if you explain it to someone, you can literally see it clicking for them in real time

Reviewing my kid's merge requests at work is fun ... When I hit "request changes" I get to pretend he actually has to listen!
