Key thing about this for anyone who was sceptical about the AI companies themselves disclosing the recent incidents (fair enough) the latest report of LLMs doing extremely worrying stuff is from AISI, a UK government body that is independent of industry and hugely respected.

This is a) a great bit of reporting and b) a really nuanced look into what is, frankly, a pretty weird attempt to grow a bunch of creators who talk about big picture AI risks. Think it tells you quite a lot about the edgelord attitude of that particular part of the Bay Area community.

This is *exactly* what Burnham should do, and he'll never be in a better position to do it than right now. (He should also either introduce a wealth tax as he does – even though it'll barely work – or bring the 50% rate back, so that "the richest bear the largest burden")
