Continuing to sketch by the pool and on the beach. Really enjoying how difficult it is to catch a moment and gives me a new appreciation of how artists just know/have learned how bodies are supposed to look without having a reference right there

Mic Wright@brokenbottleboy.bsky.social · 2d agoFraser Nelson reckons Rod Liddle was “the greatest satirist since Swift” while Michael Gove is comparing him to not just Swift but Orwell. Amazing the comparisons you can get if you’ll pump out exactly the racist opinions even they are too squeamish to commit to print.
I was right. I am more and more irritated by this film as time passes. Why did reviewers say it was good? It’s as good as a weak episode of Fringe with similar quality special effects.
Jaunty Art@jaunty.art · 4d agoUrgh. Disclosure Day was a slog of a film. Enjoyed the first half but the second half is dreadful. I don’t think the core conceit worked at all and it just collapses scene to scene until the end. I know I’m going to get more and more irritated by this film as the days pass

It’s not traditional to Scottish tastes but I adore these salted liquorice sweets. Picked up the addiction while working in Norway and just found them in the holiday supermarket
I sometimes get sad that friends and family don’t invite me to parties. Then I remember I’m not great at keeping in touch with my friends and family, and find parties and family gathering so utterly exhausting that I will definitely need to leave early. But still, sad.
