In the spirit of tormenting @brainmage.bsky.social, I am investigating a jam doughnut to see whether I have better luck than him.

I'll be removing these guys from my shop soon, so if you fancied adopting an ADORABLE little monster and giving him a loving home, now is the moment! buff.ly/z0ko1PS #monsterart #cutemonster #cute #monstercore #goblincore #chubbymonster
Because I am TERRIBLE at timing, I'm selling my boxed #Transformers Predaking mere DAYS after everyone is all knackered from #TFN! Boxed, complete (haven't even applied stickers!). Selling Due To Broke. Also, enjoy the description. I am once again Back On My Bullshit www.ebay.co.uk/itm/11734011...
I don't think people are ready for this kind of joke yet.
I still despise coding with all of my withered Gen X heart. I will begrudgingly admit to feeling a small rush of satisfaction when something works, even when that something is reproducing a paper that’s older than my sister (so I can go on and apply it to my work). More pencil & paper maths, pls.
Might #DrawingAugust be the thing that gets me to draw more frequently? No idea, but I’m going to try.
I was just scrolling down the drawings lots of us did for last year's #DrawingAugust. What a bunch of lovely drawings. Do join us this August. A drawing a day, or whenever you can, and post it on here with the #. I am going small this year...
Gouache has no right being so very different from watercolour. It’s so much easier until it’s so much harder. However. I shall persist and eventually have a “My First Gouache Painting” to which I’ll compare all future ones. Or I’ll donate it to the blue bin. It’s 50/50 right now.
Using lists of three is not an "AI tell." It's a common trait in human writing because our brains biologically want to make sure there's always one thing to marry, one thing to fuck, and one thing to murder.
I’m putting together a playlist of music Niece might like, starting with stuff we have in common & thinking about what Sister might not have played. The overlaps with me are Fleetwood Mac, Elton John, RHCP, and Billy Joel. Any suggestions from ppl less into the Loud Heavy Stuff would be great 😁
That day when I was looking through a 14th-century romance. First impression: That's not a very good stag, is it... Closer look: OMG LOOOOOL #medievalmanuscripts
100 years ago they were all children, but their eventual jobs: Engineer (motorbikes): could do this if someone showed me (would love it). Admin / office person (at the motorbike place): could do this (wouldn’t want to). Something in insurance x2: could do this (wouldn’t want to).
Enough “what would you do on the commune questions” If you got sent back 100 years and were given your grandparent’s job, what are you doing?
Pet cats are essential for survival. The dinosaurs didn’t have pet cats, and see what happened to them.

It infuriates me that maths has no Nobel Prize, and the Fields Medal is age-capped.
While the Fields Medal celebrates the under-40s, the mathematician Joan Birman has, at the age of 99, solved a major open problem in representations of the Braid groups, a topic she has worked on for more than 60 years.

Mornin'. An utterly glorious, joyous piece of noise, originally from Reddit, which still brings me stupid amounts of pleasure several years after it first appeared. Oh, I like this one...😎
