It never stops being weird that culture starts being about back-to-school and pumpkin spice right when the Bay Area summer is finally hitting in earnest.
So, sometimes I scribble story notes to myself and I will put a character's initials and then a story idea, like: S - goes to the circus and gets a balloon so big they float away (or whatever) But I mixed up the letters of two of my main characters and so they flipped. And I actually like it?
