Well apparently there is a remastered 4K version of the BBC Pride and Prejudice miniseries that you can't watch anywhere in the UK ☹️ Oh, you take delight in vexing me! It was available on BritBox, but since it was absorbed by ITVX it's disappeared. What a travesty.
I've tried at least 3x to move from Figma -> Sketch, but just can't make it work for me 😔 Sketch has some awesome newer stuff, like it's command palette (YESSS), and I love its UI. But there too many weird friction points, like the preview window behaviour, and Figma is so zippy in comparison

I'm very late but only just catching up with The Last of Us Season 2, after recently replaying the game. Wow, Eugene's death (which wasn't in the game) was such a brilliant mechanism to show Ellie who Joel really is. Very clever and lucid writing—and a mesmerising performance from Joe Pantoliano

Technical skill alone is not enough. Be someone who removes friction for the people hiring you. Clients remember who made the process feel simple.

Well the new Studio Display is going _right back_. The colour temperature felt weirdly orange next to my MacBook Air. Maybe it’s fine in isolation, but my 8 year old LG Ultrafine fits much better with my MacBook display. So odd. Looked around at some alternatives and the BenQ MA270S looks perfect.

I’m really excited to be working on the next version of Statamic Forms this week. I’ve moved from the “blank canvas I hate everything” phase to the “starting to get a buzz” design stride. Design is either torture or joy. Nothing in between!
I tried to love Penpot, I really did—but there are just a few too many keyboard-related friction points for me. It doesn't seem like you can quickly rename layers with a nice shortcut (F2 is weird), and even pressing `?` to bring up shortcuts doesn't actually focus the search box 😮💨

This is who he is, who he’s always been, and why he should never be anywhere near power again. And there’s a reason the tapes from The Apprentice have never been released.
