I do stuff. Have a kinda big deal job. Use $ from job to buy Legos…and video games. A lot goes to vet bills, too. And shoes. Also have a family, who is not really into Lego. Live in a blue state and appreciate the taxes and crappy weather.

The SPLC indictment has me legit shook. They have been on the front lines, doing the hard work of knowing the enemy for the benefit of all of us decent people. It’s a moral wound. Can someone explain the “merits” of the DOJ’s case? I know the obvious motive, but what was illegal in their assessment?

Oftentimes altruistic behavior is not individually profitable. Sometimes raising everyone up comes at a cost. They can’t wrap their brains around people just doing something because it’s feels right. They must have to be trained. Excellent self own.

I feel like they’re telling on themselves, which would go a long way as to why they’re comfortable engaging in supervillainy, but it might also be myopia.
I’m screaming on the inside on behalf of TSA. Their job involves managing irrational stressed people, language barriers, little children, and entitled jerks while being the first line of defense for our collective safety. Those who keep coming to work are better people than I am.

Having served in multiple countries run by ruthless dictators, I am accustomed to their tactics for keeping their populations under control. One of them is to employ a legion of fake opposition figures who promote the false narrative that "all parties are the same, so why bother voting?"
I watched Mamdani’s speech. A crowd representing a cross section of humanity. No bulletproof shield. In NYC. You’d think that maybe there’s something to be said about the stabilizing power of respectful diversity and humility.
