Stuff like this would make me wonder if it’s all just performance, but there’s been a human cost that isn’t faked. Here I was questioning how actors with different politics can comfortably do press together, but this is just beyond.

Before Tom Palmer’s birthday ends, I felt like mentioning that I told him at a convention once that this cover he drew was the first time I remembered really noticing the female form (I was 7 at the time). He took my creepy note remarkably well.

Thinking how at the end of the Star Wars trilogy an entire galaxy celebrates the death of the emperor without a finger wagging coda where a sad-eyed long haired scold in bespoke clothing warns that this reduces everyone to the same level as the genocidal tyrant who got tossed into a laser shaft.
I can’t ignore the fact that everything the American right accuses the American left of doing is something that they themselves are doing. That in mind, McConnell turning up alive after weeks of radio silence has me thinking about all their accusations of the dems replacing people over the years.
I hope the news replays the clip of him telling trump he’s done with him over and over and over until trump can’t help but talk shit. It would be a fitting legacy to get trashed in death by the person he sold us out for.
