Have been attempting to translate some of the old Amiga cracktro effects int o GLSL. The pallete swapping bounce ball and sinewave text which displays as many phrases as you like, baked into a texture file and font sheet. Scanlines, CRT curve. Works in VRChat too of course, I have it on my shirt~ ¦D
Am I losing touch, or are ads starting to not make sense anymore? This reads to me as though Zipcar just quit your support chat, or it indicates they left you in the lurch generally... And then blatantly lied about it. Like, what nuance am I missing here?
Picked up one of these little Waveshare S3 Audio Board thingers. Works suprisingly well! Runs microWakeWord for instant responses, 2 mics, 2" speaker is nothing special, 7 RGB LED light ring looks fine. I'm using it with Nabu Casa and Gemini here, but you can run it entirely offline too. Yeah. Neat!
British Gas are running a campaign at the moment, and have ads at my local tube station. It features a pair of hairy blue balls. Now, obvious jokes aside.. they have to be the absolute barest minimum effort character designs I've ever seen since Fury of the Furries released in 1993. THEY had mouths.
It might sound petty, but... Are McDonald's so completely detached from reality now that they don't know what food looks like any more? That's - I suppose - a sad looking pork burger. This is what a sausage sandwich looks like and is about the same price from a normal café.

In another episode of "Why are you like this?" Had some old potatoes in the cupboard, so threw them into a flowerbed thinking they'd decompose. Well, they grew instead. Left them until they started looking a bit sad, then dug them up. And made tiny tater salad! They were actually delicious~ 😂

Shower thoughts; The planet is heating up faster than evolution can deal with, so we'll HAVE to start moving further north/south. Currently, the poles are uninhabitable due to extreme cold... but I'm imagining a future where the poles are good... and the equator is inunhabitable due to extreme heat.

Todays project: Convert dead GH guitar into an ESP32 bluetooth gamepad to play Clone Hero. - Got 5 buttons, strum up/down, select, start working - Dpad, LEDs and whammy wired up, but not added yet An 18650 battery pack for power. I'll put that inside with a switch sometime. It works great too! ¦D
