These were really good posts explaining Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria I had to pull over On a personal level, this is one of my hardest things to deal with. Thankfully its not constant, and I've learned outward reactive regulation, but inside its still this, and sometimes the sad slips out >> 1/2

Post reads: People with ADHD have what’s called Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria (RSD). It’s an extreme emotional response to perceived criticism or rejection. Your brain can’t regulate the emotional pain, so a small comment feels like a devastating attack. A minor correction feels like total failure. Someone’s tone feels like hatred. It’s not oversensitivity. It’s not being dramatic. Your brain literally can’t modulate the intensity of that emotional response. It’s neurological, not a character flaw.

This past weekend was a big point of reflection for me, being one year since my first set playing for Tailspin. I've learned so much and got to meet so many wonderful people along the way, and I'm grateful for everyone with whom I've crossed paths with. Thank you for lending your spaces & ears. ✌️💜🤘
