Globalist. I prefer games, comics, books, movies and sports but was drafted into the resistance when we somehow elected a Russian-backed felon insurrectionist.
As perverse as it sounds, Trump has been amazing for clean energy. The whole of the world is making the transition now out of a crisis he created, other than the US, who will catch up after he is gone. Big Oil is even investing in clean tech. It will happen.
Because Trump did lose in 2020, and until the 2026 elections are held, we can hold onto hope. Most of us recognize that the pendulum swings in a democracy and it should be swinging hard left now. If it doesn't, we may end up agreeing with you.

Who doesn't understand our government is a crime syndicate? Who doesn't understand the law is dead? Who doesn't understand fascism is here and it's going to get worse? The American people are flaccid. Why?
But they won't. They didn't impeach him for Russia and for some reason think impeachment is bad politics and if they do it the list has to be small. I don't understand it either.

As Trump starves Cubans, bombs Iranians, kidnaps Venezuelans, extorts everyone, shoots legal immigrants, places people in concentration camps, funds genocide in Ukraine and Palestine, and blames Chinese for his 2020 loss, who will stop him?

It is absolutely ridiculous to think that Putin would murder a Trump booster without Trump's approval, which of course no sane American president would sanction. Some conspiracy theories are beyond the pale.
I wasn't rooting for either team this year but for the 250th US England would have been cool. I think Norway was the most fun and I am sad they are out. But thus year I was rooting for Mexico. Do E + F still talk about F? Do F + S still talk about any sort of rivalry?
One of the things I have noticed in the last year is that experimental innovations in green tech all around the world, all trying different things, that work, are ascending all at once.
I can't belive the next Spider-Man isn't "Spider-Man: Home Alone".

Just played demo packs of @cataclysmarcade.bsky.social with my son (11) & his cousin (12). They got the game intuitively. I had boss & a fighter that focused on weapons & at one point swung in for 10. The cousin wiped our boards with discards, but my son squeaked out a win using well timed blockers

Alex Ford@apf102.bsky.social · 2mo agoWhoever normalised endnotes in history books needs to be publicly pilloried. How is having to constantly turn to the back of a book easier than looking to the bottom of the page?!?
This is due regressive taxes based on the idea things need to pay for themselves (gas taxes paying for road repairs, in this example) instead of income, wealth and inheritance taxes.
David Andersen@daveandersen.bsky.social · 2mo agoI still want an EV. But we only drive about 5000 miles per year. Pennsylvania has imposed a "road user charge" of $250/year on EV owners, which would be nearly twice what I pay in gas taxes now. And without the externalized costs of pollution. Make it make sense. Why do we subsidize fossil so much?
