Spoilers for those who haven't seen ST: Discovery Season 4. A thought that came to mind. What if the Doomsday Device was an earlier type of mining machine used by Species 10-C in DISCO? It was advanced, and maybe they sent it into the galaxy for material to build those rings around their star.

There’s no practical difference between the people in Nazi Germany who blamed their country’s ills on the Jews without evidence and the people here now doing the same regarding undocumented migrants. Fascism and scapegoating go hand in hand. This is not difficult.
This is a 'years down the line' sort of thinking with the increased intermixing of alien species in Star Trek. After Season 3 of Star Trek, why do I see a human and Gorn coming together and every single Starfleet Doctor screaming, "ADOPT! YOU CAN'T HAVE KIDS!!!" All because of Patel.

Thoughts are coming up about reciprocation of coffee and food for the National Guard. Talk to them first about it. If it's allowed, take a couple of guards with, to prevent interference or sabotage by ICE.
Minnesota National Guard members have arrived at a federal building and were directed to distribute donuts, coffee, and hot chocolate to anti-ICE protesters. Guard members were issued reflective vests so they would not be mistaken for federal agents.
