What's another way to follow up a good comment with a bad? I already used "That said" and "Unfortunately," and thats after cutting three paragraphs of plot issues.
Five paragraphs describing this problematic book will probably be cut from my review. It would have been easier to DNF it.
I decided if I couldn't listen to an audiobook or even stand listening to music I might as well take a shower. So after a long soak and a very slow washing of the hair (the hair is really getting problematic) and was then too tired to do anything else. But of course I can't sleep.
Slept for fourteen hours and woke up with the desire to do nothing. None of the current books sound interesting. I ate and took my meds but maybe it's time to try " how to be bored" as a physical exercise instead of just a theoretical one.
I'm listening to an audiobook where the narrator often annoys me (melodramatic and often a weird cadence) and the writing is also often annoying (melodramatic and cliche) but... I'm still listening? Every time I reach to turn it off, I hesitate. Time will tell if I DNF or finish with 2-3 stars.

Earlier I posted a photo of Lua. Here are the other two cats: Baby & Bianca. Baby has decided she won't eat dinner unless it's wet food (ironically, Lua prefers dry so she's never begging for food.) Turn the volume up if you want to hear a cat that definitely hasn't eaten in forever (aka hours).

Stayed up late with the youngest, watching previews of new shows/movies while organizing my stickers (don't ask) and then slept for 14 hours! The AC is on in our room so it wasn't due to heat. Some days I just need sleep, I guess.

Feeling a little better, but yesterday was a combo of IRL and online people letting me down combined with my own body keeping me stuck indoors (the hot weather didn't help). #DCC helped and #Murderbot is helping now. So even though I haven't slept yet, I'm feeling more optimistic. Books help.
Having a day where nothing is keeping interest and I'm feeling cooped up but am not well enough to go anywhere. Eagerly waited for hubby to come home so we could listen to #DCC together. I've decided to reread the series. I have a million books to read, but I need a reread.
Our town finally has a little free library!! I have so many books to share!
I have the random urge to pull out my old Flash Me Magazine contributor list and see how those authors are doing. And the staff, of course. I have few big regrets, but closing the magazine is one. We were supposed to be moving to Germany. We moved to Florida, instead, but I couldn't've known.
Another reason I love Tuesdays: new books at the library! I may have added too many books to my TBR today but it was for two weeks of new releases via my library's Libby app. (My holds are full so I TBR them to check out later.)
