This book rewired my brain. Immaculate combination of real history, fantasy, and horror. Witty and sharp and brutal. Religion, psychosis, combat-induced PTSD, faith, redemption, forgiveness. Love. One of those I wish I could go back and read again for the first time.

Loved this—apart from the dark irony of counsel to go into nuclear ☢️ or cancer treatment 😂😭 and one leader tossing the need for "communications skills" in our AI future. Get a broad education, be adaptable, think critically, creatively and develop human skills & ethics. www.wsj.com/lifestyle/ca...
What AI Executives Tell Their Own Kids About the Jobs of the Future
We asked Anthropic’s Daniela Amodei and other AI luminaries about what they advise their own children on education and careers in an AI-driven world.

Assassins Anonymous by @robwhart.bsky.social has filled me with the seething jealously I save for the writers I really admire and enjoy. Got-DAING what a book. It cuts, it bleeds, it MOVES. Tons of humor, tons of heart, scads of action and real f*cking pathos too. Can’t wait for the next page.
One day left to submit your work to Nightmare Magazine! We close at 11 pm tomorrow night. As ever, we're looking for short stories under 7500 words, flash stories 0-1500 words long, poetry, and creative nonfiction.
Recently re-filed my paperwork with the VA, over 20 years since I was discharged with a service connected disability rating of 10%, and I was like dang there’s a whole lotta stuff wrong with me that I should’ve paid more attention to when I was originally bidding adieu to the Army.
Most common question I get at signings or conversations about writing novels: you have a family, a full time job, and scads of responsibilities. How do you get your novels written? Answer: sheer stubbornness. Cutting other stuff. Also I am frequently on the verge of nervous exhaustion. #booksky
Listen I think in Hollywood more people need to take risks on original scripts and ideas, get more directors making more work from more writers, and stop relying so much on IP. Except for the Rocketeer. If you need a script for a sequel, Disney? Call me. I have like eight.
Alert Alert Author Achievement unlocked: I was just asked to blurb something. #booksky
My wife is a professional opera singer and my 16-yo daughter has been massively into show tunes but recently started learning opera with my wife as her teacher. I feel like an eyewitness to the birth of genius, y’all. She is. So. So. Good.
My newest creation is Amelia the Lovely and the Terrible. I designed and hand-sewed her, and I hand-embroidered all her flowers and markings. She is lovely to good people and terrible to bad ones. She enjoys coming up with new blessings, curses, and cookie recipes. jeremycreature.bigcartel.com
We had the most lovely and sociable Chihuahua of all time. By which I mean her circle of trust was FIVE people and not the usual one/two. RIP Cheech, you were a real one.
Chihuahuas are honestly such special dogs. Fiercely loyal and protective (even though they can't do any protecting lol), just want to get you alone so you can snuggle together
We have completely de-Christmased the house and still no one has noticed.
No one has noticed yet

Reviews matter, y’all, I should know. #booksky
Would really love to get to 25 reviews by Christmas. That’s only eight reviews and I KNOW there are eight of you out there who have read this excellent anthology. Give these 15 authors a wonderful gift and post that review on Amazon. Happy holidays!
