My disappointment in so-called gaming “journalists” hitting new peaks right now, reading coverage of Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse. None of these people are media literate enough to write a shred of the nonsense they’ve been putting on the internet. Utter stupidity. 😒👎🏻 #konami #castlevania
In 2023, concept art was revealed by Super Mario RPG artist Jiro Mifune where the party was inspired by The Three Musketeers, and included Wario. The posts were soon deleted, but I have restored the images to the best of my ability.
It looks less and less promising with every new thing we see or that gets leaked. Being a fan of Castlevania for not just the gameplay and aesthetics, but also for the series remarkably cohesive Japanese lore and canon, makes stuff this feel like watching a car crash in slow motion. 🫠😒

Getting back into doing pixel art a bit by updating my Minecraft skin for the first time in five-ish years. Fun exercise, coming up with a new design that suits my current aesthetic. Also works as a launch pad for later self-portraits.

Yeah I’m hyped for this, was definitely the most compelling thing out of the Direct for me. Already wishlisted on Steam - fingers crossed that if it sells well, we’ll get remakes/remasters of some of the other early Windows Touhou games too! 🤞🏻

Just got back from seeing the Backrooms movie. The aesthetics and audio design were on point, found footage elements were well-integrated, and I was on the edge of my seat for almost the entire thing. In some respects, it felt almost like a Silent Hill movie. Looking forward to Kane’s future work! 👌🏻
