AI art boosters, even the socially positive one, seem to only be able to think of limitations — say, to one artistic medium — as negative. But artistic limitations are an integral part of art and art-making — not just in the process of creation but in our perception of how a given work functions.

In today’s studio session I worked on my contribution to the aforementioned monochrome motif project. Yep, I’m one of the three composers Stan mentioned though I leave my level of superbity up to the listeners 😅 I’m so stoked to be working on this project with these talented folks!

I'm thrilled to be composing for an album on Andrew Hartshorn's Monochrome Motif label with/3 other superb composers. The themes will be "elements". While walking the dog this morning, I "heard" more drums... Release timing will probably be late this year, but stay tuned for updates.

Planet today, the audacity of the sun punk-sprung and deadly, like the glass lamps we couldn’t stop touching. Free to a good home, it sank down the side of my face, and I cried like a planet, while the sun like my eyes were free and to a good home, while the it shone.
