If you’ve never larped before, it is live action DnD but you are your character and you stay in character for the weekend. In this game, I’m a several thousand year old elf mage whose real motivation for being in our little frontier postal outpost is unclear.

If folks are looking for a fun weekend in the woods hiding from realities of the modern world, and are vaguely close to the DC area, I recommend www.mirrorsightlarp.com . Staff and players are great and we are always looking for more players.

Spent a lot of time in early June helping @ashedatadog.bsky.social making various Pride themed collars. So I decided to do my own too! I started with one modeled on the Demisexual Pride flag, and one inspired by a version of the Gay Male Pride flag. Looking forward to doing other flags as well.

Chainmail collar in the Demisexual Pride colors. Starts with a large section of black, then shifts to "white", purple, and gray twisting around each other. Top view of the Demisexual Pride to better show the "white", purple, and gray twist. Chainmail collar based on a 5 color MLM Pride flag, starting with green, lime, "white", sky blue, and purple.

It may be the final day of @anthrocon.org, but there's still more writing to talk about! Thursday, we got a taste of furry writing. Friday we took a story from idea to finished draft. Saturday we worked with others to polish it and publish it. Today: It's Genre Sunday!

We start our @anthrocon.org Writing Track Saturday with a really helpful topic: "Self Publishing and Marketing Literary Work"! If you'd like to go your own way, join Eclypse / Alex Frey at 10a in DLCC 310-311 to learn all about this ever growing way to share your work with the world!

Good morning @anthrocon.org! Yesterday we had a lot of fun and talked a lot about how to get words on the page. Ok. Well, what then? Today will focus on just that! From editing, to getting feedback, all the way to publishing your work today is all about working with other writers!
