art garden@mewochy.bsky.social · 2w ago-as I put more paper mache on top the head got heavier and wouldn't support the neck all too properly, so I had to switch out the pipe cleaners for a chopstick. It's not so much a bobblehead than it is a wigglehead. And so he's a little ugly- he is a "proof of concept", not final.
Another underrated ecosystem engineer: arborescent lycopods! Plants do a lot to shape their ecosystems, but these things in particular hoovered up so much water from the swamp - and then had it transpire out through the leaves AND the trunk - they sustained the high humidity of the peat swamps
