I get that separating stormwater and sewage has prevented unsanitary and odorific overflow in other cities, but I'd like to see some data on whether Nashville sewage even stinks before we invest more in these costly reforms.

Stories about people and communities doing things for climate and the environment are important not because these efforts are enough by themselves, but because they signal to likeminded people that there are others like them.

What dictates these lists but rarely gets named: separation from traffic. If your restaurant is on a two-lane road or patrons can get to the back of the building, you're two picnic tables and a $100 garden center gift card away from having a great patio. If not, you'll never be on this list.
I do not believe that 81% of fatal crashes in the Southeast only involved vehicles traveling at or below the speed limit.

Every year I watch the home run derby and say, "I could do better than these guys," and I'm always talking about the pitchers.
For the past month it's been "win or go home," but all four remaining teams get two more games no matter what. Now they can play with the pressure off.
We have been loving these bulb-outs! They're beautiful, really high-quality, and make the streets safer for everyone.

All the bad kids, the troublemakers, the kids that you just know are gonna grow up to be crappy adults: they all like Ronaldo. The good kids like Messi.
