While Donald Trump lies about voter fraud and attempts an unlawful elections takeover, Massachusetts is leading the real fight against fraud. Just last week, my office sued United Healthcare for defrauding MassHealth out of $100 million and took on two physicians for Medicaid False Claims.

the proximate reason i post here — beyond the fact that i like a lot of you and enjoy reading your thoughts and jokes and observations — is that this is a non-algorithmic platform where people share lots of stuff and people read what is shared. that's still valuable even if it doesn't "influence!"

So far the war on Iran has cost $9.4 billion. That's $1 billion per day. $41,666,667 per hour. $11,574 per second. Thousands of lives lost. People don't want this. They want a living wage. They want healthcare. They want to be able to afford a home. They want their basic needs met.

Trump assumed a war would be helpful. It would justify emergency powers. It would deflect from his failures. It would make him seem larger. But it is making him smaller, more hostage to what’s occurring than leader, more Netanyahu’s patsy than partner, another president sucked into a forever war.
