Fighting to protect health care, lower costs, defend consumers, and lead the clean energy transition under Ranking Member @repfrankpallone.bsky.social‬

Affordable and accessible healthcare should not be a privilege for the wealthy. It should not be labeled a progressive or moderate idea by the media. Healthcare is a human right. And we must keep fighting for an affordable America that leaves nobody without the care they need when they need it.

What is the cost of the Republican’s "big" and "beautiful" bill? ▶️8 million people and counting have lost their health coverage. ▶️Hospitals closing. ▶️Premiums up. Our healthcare system is in crisis, and instead of fixing it, Republicans are abandoning families.

61 years ago today, Medicare & Medicaid were signed into law, expanding access to health care for millions. Despite promises to protect Medicare, Trump & Republicans cut nearly $1 trillion from Medicaid, kicking 10 million Americans off the program while funding tax breaks for his wealthy friends.

Medicare and Medicaid were created 61 years ago to ensure seniors and low-income Americans have access to quality health care. While Democrats fight to strengthen Medicare and Medicaid, Republicans threaten their future by prioritizing the needs of their billionaire buddies.

President Trump and Congressional Republicans' Big Ugly Bill has already harmed so many of my constituents, as healthcare costs are too expensive to afford, nutrition programs have been slashed, and Medicaid cuts take effect - all while billionaires get a massive tax break.

Americans can't afford gas, groceries or healthcare.   House Republicans' answer? $73 billion more for Trump's war in Iran.   They'll tell you we can't afford to lower your costs or protect your healthcare. But for endless war, there's always money.   I voted NO.
