Cassie loves a good plan, but she certainly didn’t plan to quit her shitty job when her boss screws her over. Determined to leave her corporate baddie phase behind, she devises “The Fun Plan” and swears off dating until she’s figured her life out. Her co-dependent ex was a nightmare, and she can’t have a man throw her off track again.

But when she runs into Malcolm eight years after their one-night stand at his beloved Brooklyn cafe, his willingness to help her out is kind of charming...

Malcolm is shook when Cassie barges into his cafe with a bag full of yarn. Little does she know, he just got an embarrassing  lecture from his friends that he’s never beating the workaholic allegations, despite leaving the finance world years ago. 

Cassie’s reappearance might be the distraction he needs, and he can show her what she’s been missing.  Now if only she didn’t come with a conniving, elitist social circle that could upend everything he’s worked so hard to build...
