🧵 1/15 The US-Canadian border wasn’t arbitrarily drawn one day like America’s Mad King keeps insisting. It was agreed to through a series of treaties from which the US president cannot just unilaterally withdraw. Key treaties and agreements began in 1783 just after Revolutionary War

Cutting Medicaid waivers for in home care for high support needs disabled people perfectly illustrates the brutal eugenics of this regime. Institutionalizing actually costs much more than waivers for in-home care. It’s about making disabled people disappear; and it costs MORE.

🧵 1/13 We must disabuse folks from claiming southern states reinstating Jim Crow for Black voters are reacting to CA & VA. Louisiana v Callais was filed in federal court on 1/31/2024. It was the kickoff for GOP to cheat in 2026 midterms, 11 days after Trump was sworn in they began abusing power

Last Days of Butter Ridge: This is milk farmer Brad who voted for Trump 3 times. Now the bank is taking away his 140 year old farm. Stagnant milk prices vs soaring costs for feed, fuel & fertilizer as high as 500% up. Tariffs played a huge part His face is at the top of the leopard food pyramid

NEW: In wake of Supreme Court voting rights act ruling, Rep. Johnny Olszewski (D-MD) introduces new term limits legislation for Supreme Court Justices 18-year terms to ensure "regular and predictable turnover"

Fetterman is really caught in 2024. I don’t think he’s watching elections, special elections, or poll numbers at all. He brags about being the only Dem to flip a senate seat in 2022, but he ran for that seat on an entirely different platform. www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025...

Fetterman flight: from Sanders-style progressive to Trump-adjacent senator

Fellow Democrats are riled by the Pennsylvania maverick who now denounces the sort of politician he once was

I keep thinking of mass energy and water to juice up dats centers. Remember when one computer was a whole room? Maybe before mass roll out, engineers should think of less harmful & less costly ways to power it.

Texas nights should belong to Texans, not Big Tech. Data centers bring permanent daylight, drain water, and drive up power bills. People deserve dark skies, clean water, and land that stays in local hands.

Dark rural nighttime scene with trees, a fence line, and a truck visible in silhouette against an unusually bright glowing sky on the horizon. The Daily Mail logo appears in the top left. Large white text reads: “Data center brings permanent DAYLIGHT to rural Texas…”

One of hundreds of stories I’ve seen from family caregivers to high support needs disabled people after RFK spewed yet another of his eugenic and ableist diatribes dehumanizing disabled people and demeaning family members who devote their lives to caring for them. MAHA is a eugenics movement.
