Great training session on collecting and preserving plants for the University of Memphis Herbarium (MEM)
We had another successful day of training volunteers at the University of Memphis- Herbarium (MEM). Training was led by Danny Frimpong, a Masters student at the Mandel Lab. Volunteers were trained on pressing and mounting specimen. If you are interested in participating, reach out to us!
We love plants! Especially edible ones! At Kemmons Wilson Culinary Institute, at the University of Memphis, they are growing an assortment of herbs and lettuces in the hydroponics lab. Some have been used in HPRM 2012 Introduction to Culinary class. Yum!#universityofmemphis#plants#herbs#vegetables
