This might be a hot take but not bothering to get a degree or finish it is not an option if you are Black, a person of colour, part of the LGBTQIA+ community, disabled, first generation or a woman. I don’t think we should sleep on not getting an education if we’re able to financially.

Never ignore your intuition about someone. If you feel uneasy and the signs aren’t obvious to your eyes, they’re obvious to your body. Don’t ignore it. Trust me.

Building a healthtech app using AI with ethics and privacy in mind also means doing a lot of learning to make sure I’m knowledgeable about privacy in design and ethics. Can’t release an app for neurodivergent people without considering this. I think that is so reckless.

I know we talk about AI “taking our jobs” but we need people looking at getting into AI policy, data policy, privacy, AI law & data law. Learn how to code if you want but we need talent to create policy to protect users of all these technologies & to defend the public in court over these issues.

AI is changing and being applied so rapidly, I can’t even keep up with everything that’s happening but I’m so concerned about the lack of ethics being discussed but I also feel that conversation is trying to keep up too.
