It's like Wayne on your wedding day. Wax and Steris after their first unsuccessful attempt at marriage. From “The Bands of Mourning” by Brandon Sanderson. Unpopular opinion: I love Mistborn Era 2 three times as much as Era 1.

Wax and Steris, from Brandon Sanderson's Bands of Mourning, sit dejectedly on the dais of a flooded church. Both are in white wedding attire. Constable Earstripe. I’m currently reading the „Saint of Steel“ series by T. Kingfisher. It has romance, hilarity, absurdity, horror, and badgerfolk, a.k.a. gnoles! I’m also working on a gouache brushset for Procreate, which this was made with. =)
