So we remember stories for our own reasons. This one was published 4 days before my Dad died. He was in the hospital. I had all the quotes but was going to let this one go. Except other family was w Dad, all of us taking shifts. So I quick-wrote this. It just happened to be about a father and a son.

Sixers should seriously talk to my man Jim Clib, the Nuggets director of scouting who has lived in Philly the whole time he helped build Jokic-era Denver. (He saw Collin Gillespie was an NBA player, as one for instance.)

Congrats to those sub .500 teams in Power 4 leagues that just made the 2026-27 field. Can’t wait to see them. (Possibly worth it if 5 more teams from non-Power leagues get in too … a big if.)
