With liquid glass I am seeing so much regression in user experience. Some apps now require you to scroll or do some weird quirks to show you navigation items. Can’t believe we are going backwards on such basic stuff.
Everybody knew what those layoffs because “we are more productive with AI” actually meant. This is the result. This is the reality, and reality it’s inescapable.

Sorry, but when open source projects are acquired by companies I prefer to remain skeptical until proven wrong.
I miss the times when companies' developer conferences were developer conferences. Now they are announcements just to keep shareholders steady. Sad and boring times.
Just watched the first version of @jsheroes.io after movie from this year, and all I can say is the video team we have is beyond amazing. Just wait for it.

Hard agree. It is something I’ve been doing more and more. If you see a talk, an article, a course, a project you liked please say it. You have no idea the effect it has on creators, especially in these times when it feels there’s a void that swallows anything that is creative and human.
Kevin Powell@kevinpowell.co · 3mo agoIf you don't have time to read it, the tl;dr is, if there are educational content creators you value, let them know. They might write, make videos, or anything else. Times are tough, and talented people are fading away. A few encouraging words from a real person can make a huge difference.

Against the sea of noise, slow down. Take the time you need. Find community. Learn with them. Share with others. Dream long term. Build together. Have fun. Love. Care.

I have a lot of feelings and thoughts every time JSHeroes ends. When @alexmoldovan.dev asked me to help them it was the easiest *yes* of my life, and it was even more than I imagined. I made new friends from all over the world, and actually feel I made _some_ impact in this community.

Another year, another @jsheroes.io edition I am a part of. So happy to be here surrounded by my favorite people in this industry.
Companies worth billions of dollars treating security, performance and accessibility as nice-to-haves for years, and here we are folks, pull requests are unsafe now.
Chrome team has amazing people working on it, but leadership has completely lost the plot. As users we need to vote by choosing other products, sadly.

A sad time for web standards. But, I guess someone at Google will get promoted, so 'every cloud…'
I had to leave my iPhone mini behind and buy a “normal sized” phone. I hate it so much. The mini had the perfect size.
