Just got a call back from the vets, Mouse's spay went well and she's awake!! Sadly she was loosing body tempt too fast for them to be comfortable with keeping her under for her dental x-rays, so I just have the estimate we were originally given to work off of.

MOUSE-ATHON starts in TWO days!! We have our first participation badges! One for 2 hours watch time and one for subbing or gifting a sub! I'm looking to raise €400 euros to help put towards paying for Mouse's much needed dental surgery to get at least 6 puppy teeth removed! (sorry forgot alt text 🙈)

I know it's a routine procedure, but I'm so scared for tomorrow. Mostly, though, I just feel bad that she has to go the pain and the healing process (crate rest / lack of play and running around). I know it's the best thing for her in the long run. I just hope it all goes well, the healing too 🥲

Mouse's spay is this week! So hopefully I'll have her X-rays too and a proper estimate. I'm really hoping they can remove her one loose tooth that just will not come out whilst she's under 🙏🏻 but there's only so much time. Also I miss counted, there's at least 6 teeth to be pulled. 😮‍💨

Mouse-athon donation will be going towards her teeth extraction, which she desperately needs (babygirl is still a shark and it's uncomfy / painful for her 😭 ). I'll get a better estimation for the price of this after her Spay in August, but at the moment I'm looking at around €400 for the surgery.

🚨PSA For Twitch Streamers Moving to YouTube! YT has (unfortunately) automatically enrolled creators in AI features for over a year and you must turn off MULTIPLE settings in YT Studio to avoid it! ➡️Under Advanced Channel Settings, make sure to turn off AI Training, AI Dubbing, + AI Enhancements!

I’m making a browser extension called Safe Badge to let you know which Twitch streamers have disabled Gen AI training. This is an honor system as there’s no way to verify it. But it’s better than nothing. The extension isn’t finished yet but you can give yourself the badge here: safebadge.ori.mx

everyone says "just move to another streaming platform" when twitch makes shitty choices—genuinely where is there to move to? youtube is full of gen-ai & just made the requirements for their paid program twice as hard. kick is a cesspool. velora has a gen-ai bot they want you to treat like a human.

Don't let GenAi stop you from doing what you love. If you love streaming, fuck it. You have the right to pursue what fulfills you. You don't have control over what bullshit Twitch implements but you do have the option to persist in spite of these decisions. Your excitement will overshadow the shit.

do not abandon your streamers. your time watching is more valuable to most streamers than anything else, if you don't want to give money to twitch you don't have to. look for your streamers alternative support methods. if you want them to make content, they need you there.
