In general, I do get somewhat tired of the adaptations of major heroic stories of myth where they get rid of the horrible things these "heroes" do. We're so obsessed with white and black narratives that it is no surprise we lose the capacity to think in nuance these days.
Saw the Odyssey; it was a good movie...But I have some opinions: 1. No Gods changes the story 2. Odysseus is treated very consistently within his morals, and that drastically changes the story 3. The version of the story in the movie is more so a commentary on humanity and change, which is fine tbh
