to me vtubing is a huge beacon of hope when the animation and gaming industries are failing so many skilled artisans. it is truly a labor of love and a testament to how people will find ways to create with or without a studio behind them. so please keep making cool stuff! even if out of spite!!!

This really is it, this is the part that keeps me raging against the machine. Every day of my career I’m shoulder to shoulder with incredible people, pouring their skill & point of view into the work they do, making choices that amaze and delight me. Frame by frame, drawing by drawing…that’s THE job

I do not value their creative contribution to my vision. I think they are so worthless, they can be replaced by the machine that ate their work." It's not surprising this is seen as hostile.

bz update: i’ve really been loving my new job!! getting out of the house and doing some hands-on work has been really great for my mental health!!! still working hard on commissions, too, even if a little slower! planning to wrap up a few projects soon 🤞
