An Iranian mother gave her martyred daughter's necklace to an Iraqi girl during the 100-kilometer (62-mile) Arbaeen pilgrimage walk. I was so sad today for no reason I could name, but this made me genuinely happy. There is still so much goodness in the world.

As a Jew I obviously am happy to hear anyone say he views my community safety as just as important as theirs but I’m frankly more disgusted this obviously good man is forced to constantly make these statements due to bigotry against his own community. Don’t for a second think I don’t see parallels

In NY, what looked like "problems with Black voters"—once other variables are considered—turns into "problems with homeowners, business owners, and elders" and a relative strength with renters, wage workers, and the young.
This narrative about "Black voters" is becoming the new version of "Democrats are out of touch with the white working class." Based on partial truths, it has rapidly turned into a ready-made story that is pasted onto situations where it barely captures what is actually taking place.
