Daniel Brown@brownieathletic.bsky.social · 2y agoCool trivia from the @baseballhall.org: Ichiro becomes the 3rd Hall of Famer to have played in both MLB and Nippon Professional Baseball. The others? Larry Doby with the Chunichi Dragons in 1962 and Goose Gossage for the Fukuoka Daiei Hawks in 1990.
I try and generally avoid HoF arguments and discourse but this class is so cool in so many ways and as a fan, what three totally different and totally awesome representations of the game. Congrats to all.
