Geordie Greep is a singular artist. He had the crowd doing circle work while his keys player improvised a jazz sonata. He sings with an operatic baritone and also shouts at us. He lets his band go wild and then conducts them with infinitesimal precision. It was just wild, unmatched stuff.

We just saw a bus saying "ZOMBIE OUTBREAK" followed by three flashing ambulances. Have I missed something in the last couple of hours?
That was honestly a triumph. A fascinating family drama viewed through a very particular and powerful lens. I had it only vaguely on my #sydfilmfest radar, but I'm so glad I caught up with it after the fact.
