The piece of shit who was harassing Stevens & her supporters at events is now trying to actively sabotage her voter outreach. “Influencers” are cheap these days.

One thing I’m reminded of amidst the Ross Douthat news is that despite Isaac Chotiner’s reputation as a tough interviewer, both times he’s sat down with Douthat he’s treated him with kid gloves. I have no idea why given that he’s the kind of person Chotiner should vivisect.

Scoop: I’m told that Ross Douthat is exiting The NYT and is expected to take a role at “60 Minutes.” News expected to be announced soon.

I'm so sad about this. Whether you encounter it on screen, or see it on stage, Once is one of those rare works of art that has the power to change your life. It allows you to find beauty in the most ordinary of moments. variety.com/2026/music/g...

I'm honored to have written the New York Times obituary for Denise Oliver-Velez, a trailblazing activist whose work offers lessons for us all. I'm especially grateful to her godchildren, who were very generous with their help during this time of mourning. www.nytimes.com/2026/07/20/u...

Hasan Piker is toxic to the Democratic Party brand and the more Democrats push him, the more voters they will lose. Piker does not believe in fighting Republicans; to him, Democrats are the greater evil. Make no mistake - he will be a Republican by 2040.

"I never would and never will criticize Mao Zedong… one of the great leaders of this world... who changed the entire universe … There was a lot of fucking excess... but China would not exist without Mao." Mao’s rule resulted in 40M deaths.

Good luck to Troy Jackson, the new Democratic Senate nominee in Maine. He's gonna need it when Republicans place this photo (and others like it) on every single ad for the next three months.

The foundations of StollerThought are 1)chicks suck and 2)it's good when Republicans win elections to own the libs. Platner staying in the race and losing by 12 points would be the exacta
