I've been looking forward to this metor shower for months to try out some astrophotography, and now that it's here we keep getting cloudy, hazy skies. I'm gonna fight these clouds if they don't clear out of here.

Out for a walk by the lake, and I heard a little sneeze. Looked over and this guy was just chilling 20 feet from me. First time I've ever been able to get close to a cormorant and of course it's almost dark and I only have a 50mm lens and my phone.

Monty Moorhen was running for his life after spending the night with a married lady friend, sadly for Monty her other half is built like the Terminator. So you can see why Monty is moving like the clappers, but the only bad thing for Monty was that he doesn't like running. Because when Monty was at school doing the cross country he used to hide in the woods and then rejoin when everyone else was on the way back. Let's just hope that Monty made it to safety and lives to make another date. Captured at Tophill Low Nature Reserve.
