Realistically we’re without Saka and Tzolis for the next few weeks and hopefully they’re back for Newcastle on 21st November but it means consistent minutes on the wing for Noni, Eze and Max in this run of games. It’s a fantastic opportunity for 3 players with something to prove.

It’s not the game for Merino yet, but I’m looking at the bench and it feels like Dowman is the only one that could come on and give a bit of spark to the attack. Feel like Gyokeres would be ineffective and Noni would come on and be just as frustrating as the ones on the pitch.
Bought Josie a kitchen bed today as she likes to be a little sous chef. Safe to say she’s happy with it.
I thought it looked dodgy when he came out to defend the indefensible a few weeks but now it all makes sense. The optics are terrible and it’s not a great time for sleazy stuff like this to come out for him.

Turned the Dortmund v Bremen game on at HT. Ethan has looked very lively so far.
Forgotten what club football is even like it’s been so long but here’s what I would go with tomorrow. If Konsa isn’t fit I’d bring Timber or Mosquera into CB. Leeds are a big physical side and despite the height difference I think Timber’s probably better in the air.
This international break is fucking vile. I know we all complained about the constant stop/start of club football but it was better than this.

Been reading this book this week. Almost finished it. Would thoroughly recommend. Football and a bit of sociopolitical history. Really interesting stuff.
