Wifey and I attended a local LGBTQIA+ gathering last night and it was so nice to see a number of queer and trans elders there. I'm currently in my 40s which may not mean anything for the average day person but I'm grateful to reach that milestone and as my true self. Some trans positivity, is all.

New book purchases. It's always nice to have comics reference books for said line of work. (Understanding Comics was purchased again due to gifting my previous copy to my niece a while back.)

New comics. (Fun Home was purchased again due to losing it along with a handful of my comics library years ago.)

After how many years of putting it off, I finally finished reading my cousin Angeline Boulley's 'Firekeeper's Daughter' this morning. Throughout the read, I visualized it like I was reading a graphic novel bc that's just how my brain works sometimes lol.

I keep forgetting Wednesdays are Comic Book Day. I would've gotten a new graphic novel today but I really need to take care of my current comics backlog at the moment.

In other news, I finally read Dune and rewatched Part One. Currently on Part Two and already I have that "Book > Movie" mentality lol

I'm now caught up on acquiring my cousin's currently published books in hardcover and will resume/finish Firekeeper's Daughter hopefully this month.
