The post-9/11 country my generation grew up in has been plagued by rampant Islamophobia—some of that bled into this Michigan race. El-Sayed’s win tonight is a huge deal.

CNN is reporting munitions shortages influenced Trump’s decision to cancel the large-scale attack on Iran. Nothing to do with impending talks. It seems Trump has left the US in no position to fight a war.
