An old guy with a Bluesky account. I have two cats, two bicycles and I live in Minneapolis.

A year or so ago this street art would have been nearly void of profound meaning. In 2026 Minneapolis? Intensely poignant and political. We had whistles. They had guns. Minneapolis.

A large posterboard designed in the shape of a whistle. It is attached to a wooden street pole next to a large park.

@minneapolismn.gov method of dealing with the unhoused: clearcut foliage & lay down rocks. There were MAYBE two tents against that wall last week. I ride through here every day & never had an issue or noticed a problem. This is inhumane & a waste of money. Greenway between 26th & 27th Aves S.

This is akin to that awful woman, I think her last name is Pecker, who calls bike advocates "racist" because Black men have, according to her, the lowest bicycling rate. It's gaslighting. These business clowns don't want to walk/bike themselves & they are TERRIFIED of the public & public transit.

“you can say whatever you want. you represent less than 1%. you are like the billionaires you hate. you represent the minority. that’s all there is,” says one business owner on cyclists in minneapolis
