American living in England. Previously lived in 日本, NL, France. Motorbikes, cricket, opera, etc. He/him. If you think my skeet might be sarcastic, it probably is.

And the US also provides support for another observation that underpins political constitutionalism - that a rigid constitution that is hard to change can lead to necessary and popular reform (control of $ in politics; gun control; electoral college) being made impossible.

We are pleased to put the iconic Volcanic Ashes trophy 'up for grabs' when we take on the MCC from 14-16 August. Set in a base of basaltic rock, the trophy contains real volcanic ash. Win or lose, it will remain in our triple glazed case in our cricket museum in Reykjavík, under permanent guard.

Cornyn and Tillis have nothing to lose. Pretending that Blanche did anything significant today, and ignoring the umpty-eleven reasons he's unfit that have nothing to do with the fraudulent settlement of Trump's case against the IRS, are the actions of men with no principle or moral core.

Agreed. Coincidentally, the regional appeals court is in my Opa's home town. He and most of his family made it out (barely) in time (he left in 1939). An uncle who'd been wounded in WW I was "deported" to Lithuiania, then murdered there after the invasion. Makes this case feel poignant.

This is a good ruling on free speech grounds alone, regardless of whether or not one agrees with the substantive comparison. www.middleeasteye.net/news/german-...

*Every* AUSA in Reno has left. Crazy! And Sigal Chattah’s insults are so offensive. My former colleagues in Reno were terrific, principled lawyers, and I am saddened (but not surprised) that they would leave rather than risking their careers, licenses, and reputations working for Chattah.

Great listening to a 17-year-old have a great day batting for Lancashire. Teenagers get on the field reasonably often for both women's and men's high-level cricket, & it always brings a smile when they play well—it probably won't happen, but you can imagine this is the beginning of a great career.
