I call it "What if the REAL Sharks...Were Us?" There's like one minor injury at sea that's misattributed to a shark, the town goes absolutely bugnuts, the mayor cranks up the hysteria bc it's bringing in tourists, and it's a marine biologist and a fisher trying to calm everyone down

Finished my callback audition and I think I did good, but I’ll admit I wouldn’t have minded if the directors stood up after the song or readthrough and yelled “STOP EVERYTHING, HE’S THE ONE!” But I guess them sending me an email about the part in a few days is fine
There’s a ton of good answers but for single artists I’m going with Josh Ritter for Hello Starling, Animal Years and Historical Conquests For bands, Talking Heads - Fear of Music, Remain in Light and Speaking in Tongues, a lineup so good they got to make each song *even better* for the concert

OK so the auditions for Pippin required a video dance audition - I asked and none of my theater friends ever heard of such a thing, and also I m going for the part for 50+yo character actors so I asked “hey does this apply to me?” Never heard back so…I sent in the worst dance tape I could conceive
AVATAR AANG was gorgeous to look at, I get why they were mad it didn’t get a theatrical release It was real bad otherwise, thin character work, a dumb fetch quest plot, and some of the worst voice acting I’ve ever heard We lost a lot when Andrea Romano retired
