Exactly 1y ago, my players saved the life of one of the most important NPCs in our DnD world: Sybelle Sangreal, the last princess of the Solaria kingdom. At the end of the last session, they reunited after 2 in-game years had passed. Next session will be a banger. (alt text for lore) #ndart #dnd

When you’ve done nothing but cratered your company, a sudden miracle solution that comes out of nowhere to help cut corners and most importantly, allows you not to take responsibility and face blame, is going to look extremely enticing, so I get it. If I were a complete hack fraud, I’d do it too.

I cannot tell you what absolute fiction this is. AI is heading for a crash and this cackhanded Terminator narrative is being engineered to save them. The fact that the unsubstantiated testimony of a former employee has been the top story on BBC News all day is absurd and irresponsible.

Film editing is 40% discovery and 40% instinct & emotion. The 20% that's left over is the only part that AI will ever be able to facilitate. This is why AI will never be able edit. It will be able to assemble in a format that resembles editing to a passive, uncritical eye, but that's the ceiling.
