Ramaswamy has produced an attack ad weaponizing the rape of his opponent, Amy Acton, when she was 12 years old. It features Acton’s mother, who abandoned Acton after she was raped by her step-father, fleeing the state with her husband. Here is the corporate money helping fund that ad.

OMG! 😄 I was talking to my daughter about this the other day. I was saying how vanity plates are supposed to be easy to decipher. And how it irks me when I gotta sit there for who-knows-how long and I still can’t figure it out. 1/2

What's something mundane that you're terrible at? For instance, I'm the absolute worst at being able to read people's special customized vanity plates. They have to be absolutely straightforward for me to get them

Exactly. Not only that, but Republicans love rolling out the same ol’ tired scare tactics every election cycle. “People will leave the city/state if so&so is elected…” “The caravans are coming from Mexico/South America…” “They’ll come to take your guns…” Fear is all they have.

I’ve never understood this unless you’re like a billionaire or already planning to move for other reasons. It costs a lot of money to move!

OMG! Yes! I took my son to Macy’s so he could buy his very first suit and the store associate was incredibly helpful. She was able to eyeball his size within seconds and her measurement was very close. And then she helped him find a specific style that he really liked.

You guys are never gonna believe this, but going to a brick-and-mortar running store and getting sized by employees who know what they're doing and can recommend brands and models for you is a WAY better strategy than Googling "Nike running shoes" and buying whatever's on sale

Right! DSA are Democrats and they’re winning. So “regular” Dems should give sincere consideration into what they can incorporate into their own agenda to become more attractive candidates. If they don’t wanna change, fine. But I hate seeing Dems fight amongst themselves.

Elizabeth Picciuto@epicciuto.bsky.social · 4mo ago

It is unwise for Dems to react to DSA success with “how do we squelch this” rather than “how do we work with this”? Many of the current squelchers were people who have been asking the latter question since November 2024. They should ask themselves how it is different.
